This is a collection of flower paintings by Paolo Statuti. In 1978, after having worked for about five years in Kenya, Paolo Statuti – an Italian writer, poet and painter – wished to pay homage to this country through an exhibition which would signify at the same time his own “Farewell Africa”. As subject of his exhibition he chose flowers, which are the beautiful, unquestionable and impressive feature of Kenya. The oil paintings presented in the following gallery are the remaining part of that exhibition. To learn more about their price contact us here.

Your fingers were more witnesses than your eyes.
Your heart was a better painter than your hand.
Your soul`s eyes trascended leaves, flowers, boughs to make beauty suspended to admire.jvajtp
The very sudden impression is giving you the feeling to be there and smell those african beauties. I would have felt that same intense feeling you had during your creation…. surely great thing! Lucky you Paolo!
